Keynote Speaker

Dr. Susan C. Aldridge of the University of Maryland University College, USA will be giving a keynote talk on "Learning Through Technology: From Institutional Course Delivery to Collaborative Knowledge Creation".

Location

CATE 2009 is being held on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. One of a group of islands that comprises the US Virgin Islands, St. Thomas is legendary for its breathtaking natural beauty and the warm hospitality of its people. The pristine white beaches and clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea combine with an average November temperature of 27.5°C (81.5°F) to make St. Thomas a vacation paradise.

Computers and Advanced Technology in Education (CATE 2009)

The International Conference on Computers and Advanced Technology in Education (CATE 2009) will be a major forum for international researchers and professionals to present their latest research, results, and ideas in all areas of computers and advanced technology as they relate to education. CATE 2009 aims to strengthen relations between industry, research laboratories, and universities. All submissions will be double blind reviewed by at least two reviewers. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution.
