Abstract

fiogf49gjkf0d
At a synchrotron light source, control system forms an integral and essential part of almost every single subsystems. This special session focuses on recent development and advancement in control system and control instrumentation employed at a synchrotron light source, which encompasses the control systems for the accelerator complex, the beamlines, as well as the experimental stations. The topics related to accelerator control include the hardware infrastructure and specific software routines, for e.g. an orbit feedback system, a data logging system, and others. Regarding beamline control, development of control system both for common purposes such as beamline operation and for special purposes like mirror feedback system are of interest. This session also covers the topics related to experimental station control such as the development of a data acquisition system and control system of the experiment instruments.

Target Audience

fiogf49gjkf0d
All researchers, scientists and practitioners working in the field of synchrotron light source.
Authors submitting papers to this special session must follow the initial paper formatting requirements. All papers must be submitted by January 14, 2013.
