PANEL SESSION
Revolutionary Nanocomputing
Abstract
Nanotechnology provides a wide range of new opportunities for fast and energy-efficient computing. New possibilities to manipulate matter might make revolutionary computational principles competitive. This panel will discuss these new approaches widely and with special emphasis on bio-inspired computation, neuromorphic computing, and cellular automata with magnetic nanoparticles.
Several examples of questions or issues that will be addressed by the panel:
- What are the new opportunities for computing?
- How can they be implemented with Nano?
- Why are they needed - what are the driving applications?
