Wireless Communication
Abstract
In today’s world, wireless systems have become an essential tool and provide solutions in everyday personal and business situations in an easy and cost-effective manner. Wireless communication finds its application in a number of fields, including healthcare, environmental, home appliances, education, military etc. Designing, developing and testing of efficient wireless communication protocol is a great confront for the researchers in these areas. The objective of this special session on Wireless Communications is to embrace the state-of-the art research contributions on topics related to all the aspects of wireless communications and its applications. The Wireless Communications session targets at an absolute coverage of the advances in wireless communications technologies for contemporary and future systems, and genially invite original contributions in, but not limited to, the following topical regions:
o Broadband wireless communications
o Interworking heterogeneous wireless/wireline networks
o OFDM/OFDMA, CDMA, spread spectrum
o Wireless sensor networks
o Mobile computing
o Vehicular communication
o Ultra-wideband communications (UWB)
o Cognitive radio and software defined radio
o QoS of wireless communications
o Multimedia communications over wireless
o Ad hoc wireless networks
o MIMO systems
