Dr. Henk Granzier holds a PhD in Bioengineering and is currently a Professor of Physiology at Washington State University. He has received multiple awards that include an Established Investigatorship from the American Heart Association and the Helmholtz-Humboldt Research award. His laboratory is focused on the biomechanics of novel sarcomeric proteins with experimental approaches that are multifaceted and span the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organ levels.
