Dr. Elias Stefanakos is a Professor in the area of Energy and the Environment, Renewable Energy Sources, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, and Distributed Generation at University of South Florida.

Aníbal T. De Almeida, Senior Member, IEEE, received the Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Imperial College, University of London, London, U.K. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computers, University of Coimbra, Coimbra, Portugal. He is also a Consultant of the European Commission, NATO, UNDP, World Bank, GEF and other international organizations. Prof. De Almeida is the coauthor of six books on energy efficiency and sustainable development, and more than 150 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings and presented at meetings. He has coordinated six European projects dealing with energy-efficient technologies and distributed generation.
