Dr. Nalin Sharda gained B.Tech. (1974) and PhD (1984) from IIT Delhi. He teaches and leads research in Multimedia and Internet Communications at Victoria University, Australia. His publications include Multimedia Information Networking textbook, and over 70 handbook chapters and papers. His research interests include the application of the Internet and multimedia systems to enhance communications, and the development of tourism ICT systems.
