Date

FEA 2007 will take place from September 24 – 26, 2007.

Location

The University of California, Berkeley has long been at the forefront of key research areas and consistently ranks as one of the top universities in the world. It played an instrumental role in the development of the Manhattan Project and has produced key technologies associated with the early development of the Internet and the Free and Open Software Movements.

Financial Engineering and Applications (FEA 2007)

The expanding range of financial instruments available to corporations and individuals, coupled with the increasing complexity of the analytical methods used by financial analysts, strategic planners, investors, creditors and insurers, have forced businesses and academics alike to turn to increasingly sophisticated technologies for solutions. The marriage between traditional topics of finance, economics, mathematics, and cutting-edge technology has created the field of Financial Engineering.

The purpose of FEA 2007 is to provide a forum for experts from academia and business to exchange information and ideas on this emerging interdisciplinary subject.

Review Process

Every paper submitted to an IASTED conference is double blind reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers that include members of the International Program Committee (IPC) and related Technical Committees, as well as additional qualified reviewers.

FEA 2007 is sponsored by the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED).
