Palma de Mallorca, the capital city of Spain's Balearic Islands, offers exquisite sunshine and astounding beaches. Tucked into the beautiful bay of Bahia de Palma, this thriving town is a perfect mixture of the Balearic Islands' long and unique history and exciting modern culture. Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing (ASC 2007)
ASC 2007 will create an international forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange new ideas and practical experience in the areas of soft computing and artificial intelligence. The conference provides an opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas. ASC 2007 will strengthen relations between industry practitioners, research laboratories, and universities.
ASC 2007 is sponsored by the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED), with the assistance of:

Conference Chair

Prof. Angel Pasqual del Pobil is a Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Jaume I University and is founder director of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He has been involved in robotics research for the past 19 years and his research interests include sensorimotor transformations, collective robotics, and mobile manipulators.
