FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS FOR
FINAL MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS

Formatting Instructions (.pdf)
IASTED only accepts papers in electronic form in Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Postscript (.ps), or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf). Please remember to submit your paper formatted for letter size paper (8.5 inches by 11 inches, 216 mm by 279 mm), not A4 size paper (8.26 inches by 11.69 inches, 210 mm by 297 mm).
Only one paper of up to eight pages is included in the regular registration fee. There will be an added charge for extra pages and additional papers.
Microsoft Word Files
If you want to submit your paper in Microsoft Word (.doc) format, the following template will help to get the proper format.
TeX and LaTeX Files
If you want to prepare your paper using TeX or LaTeX, please use the following TeX template and style file, and convert the final version of your paper to Postscript (.ps) or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf) before submitting it.
Note: Please use the article class in your .tex file
A common problem is .ps or .pdf files produced in A4 format (210 mm by 297 mm) instead of letter format (8.5 inches by 11 inches), even with letterpaper specified at the start of the .tex file and using "dvips -t letter". It may be necessary to edit your config.ps file so that the letter size parameters are before the A4 parameters, and use latex, dvips, and then the Adobe Acrobat Distiller rather than using pdflatex to go directly from .tex to .pdf, or pdfwrite to go from .ps to .pdf.
