Dr. Li Da Xu is a professor and eminent scholar at Old Dominion University in the United States and a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education of China. He is the founding director of the Institute of Systems Science and Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology. Other academic appointments include Associate Director, Institute of Material Flow, Beijing Jiaotong University; Research Professor, Institute of Computing, Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Overseas Chair of the Department of Information Management and E-Commerce at Xian Jiaotong University.
Dr. Xu is the chair of Working Group 8.9 (Enterprise Information Systems) of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Committee on Information Systems. He is also chair of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society’s Technical Committee on Enterprise Information Systems. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the journal Enterprise Information Systems, and for the series Advances in Enterprise Information Systems and Advances in Systems Science and Engineering, which are published by Taylor & Francis. He is also a main editor for IFIP’s series on enterprise information systems.
