Dr. Reda Reda graduated from the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, Egypt. He subsequently got his M.Sc. in Nuclear Physics and Ph.D. in Atomic Transport from Vienna University of Technology, Austria. He has worked for Alexandria University, UNESCO, and the University of California, Los Angeles, USA. Dr. Reda began his association with Siemens in 1984. He has been Project Leader, Marketing Manager, and Marketing Director. In 2001 Dr. Reda became the Siemens Information and Communication Network (Siemens ICN) marketing head in Austria. Dr. Reda initiated and promoted several marketing-oriented research programs in cooperation with different universities. He produced and published numerous market analysis papers dealing with driving potentials and future trends in Information Communication Technology (ICT), business opportunities, economical and technological scenarios, etc. Together with his team, he designed and created the first prototype of a web-based TV. He has been Keynote Presenter and Invited Speaker for major international conferences on topics such as ICT, telecommunications, networks, web-based future architecture & applications, and e-Business. He has published over 50 papers and articles in scientific journals and magazines. Dr. Reda was honoured with the Innovation Prize in Science from the Egyptian Ministry of Science and Technology, and has also received several awards from Siemens. In 2002 he was elected Vice President for the SmartNetworks working group of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP). In 2005 he was nominated as Chair of the Scientific Marketing Board of the International Academy, Research, and Industry Association (IARIA). Since June 2005 he has been acting CEO of ICTMC: Management.
