Biography of the Invited Speaker

Dr. Ian Hunt has twice been Included as one of nineteen "Popular Profs" in "Maclean's Guide to Canadian Universities" and has been honoured by the University of Calgary for teaching excellence several times since he began his career there. He has received accolades for pioneering the use of new in-class technologies, such as indicidual student clickers, into the instruction of organic chemistrt and In recent years, has turned this gift for teaching towards his research, completing several conference presentations on the usage of the internet and on-line learning in the classroom.
