Steve Beaudin graduated from McGill University with a B.Eng in 1993 and later from Concordia University with a Master of Applied Science in 1996. From 1996 to present he has held different roles at Nortel's R&D center in Ottawa, Canada. From 1996 to 2000 his primary function was to design filters and RF modules within Nortel's Wireless Technology labs. Between 2000 and 2005 he was the Manager of the RF Hardware team. Since 2005 he has been the RF Systems Manger of Nortel's WiMax Base Station Development and is responsible to develop Radio's in all key WiMax bands. Specific area's of interest are Wireless Communications, RF system and circuit design, Filter design and high precision timing sources. Steve currently has 15 U.S. patents granted and over 25 patent applications filed in various area's of Wireless design.
