Nageswara S. V. Rao
is currently a UT-Battelle Corporate Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he joined in 1993. He received B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Warangal, India in 1982, M.E. from School of Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1984 and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University in 1988. His research interests include hybrid high-performance networks, network transport dynamics, statistical approaches to transport control, and information and sensor fusion. He is a Principal Investigator for UltraScience Net project funded by U.S. Department of Energy. He was a recipient of 2005 IEEE Computer Society Technical Achievement Award for his contributions to Information Fusion area.
