Prof. Dr. Alexander Ivannikov is the First Deputy Director of the State Research Institute on Information and Telecommunication Technologies “INFORMIKA”, Moscow, Russia.
Dr. Ivannikov is well-known expert on Information and Telecommunications technologies and, particularly, their applications in Education area. In 2002-2005 he served as a leader of the Federal Educational Program entitled “Global Education Network” (national educational portal); this national project has been sponsored by the federal government of the Russian Federation.
Dr. Ivannikov is a Laureate of the 1998 Russian Federal Government Prize in the area of Education, the Academician of the International Information Networking Academy. He has more than 150 professional publications.
