Corrado Corradini is Full Professor of Hydrology and Transport Processes of Pollutants in Fluids and Soil at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Perugia. He was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering from September 2001 to October 2008. At present he is also the Coordinator of the University Evaluation Group. Beginning in 2008 he is Associate Editor of the Journal of Hydrology.
His research activity until 1980 was developed in the field of Atmospheric Physics, specifically: (1) Microphysics of fog and clouds and (2) Radiation transfer in the atmosphere. Since 1980 the research activities have been focused on: (3) Effects of orography on rainfall spatial distribution, (4) Rainfall infiltration, (5) Semi-distributed rainfall-runoff models, (6) Real-time flood forecasting.
Prof. Corradini has more than 130 publications to his name, a large part of which are refereed articles in the main journals dealing with atmospheric physics and water engineering.
