Biography of the Organizer
Dr. Francis Joseph Ogwu has been working as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Botswana for the last ten years. He has a strong academic experience of teaching computer science and related subjects for the last twenty five years. He has been the head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He has over 31 research papers and international journals and conferences into his academic credit. He has also been the member of the editorial board for Botswana Journal of Technology (BJT), South African Computer Lecturers Association (SACLA) and IASTED Canada. He has chaired various IASTED conferences and SALCA’05. His areas of interest are computer communications & networking and artificial intelligence. He is specialized in speech processing.
