Prof. J. Awrejcewicz is a founder and head of the Department of Automatics and Biomechanics of The Technical University of Lodz, Poland, as well as a founder and chair person of the Ph.D. Schools on “Mechanics”. He is an author and/or a co-author of 34 monographs, 4 textbooks, 10 conference proceedings, 11 journal special issues, and over 460 purely reviewed papers in international journals, conferences and meetings.
