Biography of the Organizer
Prof. Harry Boyer is an Engineer from the Electrical Engineering School of the University of Montpellier, France and received a Ph.D in 1993 from INSA de Lyon in France and Head of Research Capacity from Reunion Island University. In 1994 he became an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Head of the Civil Engineering Research team at the Reunion Island University (French overseas territory, Indian Ocean). Since 2001 he has been Full Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Laboratory of Building Physics and Systems at Reunion Island University. He is an author/co-author of more than 30 papers in building simulation, passive design, and building physics.
