Professor Vladimir Bobal obtained his PhD in Technical Cybernetics, Institute of Technical Cybernetics, Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. He is currently a professor of Theory of Automatic Control at Tomas Bata University in Zlin in Czech Republic. His research interests include system identification, adaptive and predictive control and CAD for self-tuning control.
