Dr. Kathryn Bowles received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, where she leads a program of research in telehomecare and the use of information technology to improve care for the elderly. With scores of publications in peer-reviewed journals and professional books, Dr. Bowles has been invited to share her expertise in telehealth, decision-support and information technology at over fifty international, national and regional conferences and several professional organizations.
