Michael Welzl studied computer science at the University of Linz, Austria, and is currently a PhD student at the University of Darmstadt, Germany. He is employed as a teaching assistant at the University of Innsbruck. His research area is computer networks with a focus on layer 3 / 4 functions such as congestion control, QoS provisioning and Active Networks.
