Robert Sarfi provides business vision and technology solutions to electric, gas, and water utilities around the world. Prior to Boreas Group, Robert occupied numerous leadership positions with consulting firms focused on providing technology consulting to utilities. Robert has a bachelors degree and Ph.D. in electrical engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario and a member of the IEEE. Robert has published and presented over thirty papers related to improving distribution system operations. In his spare time, Robert enjoys alpine skiing and flyfishing.

Mike Tao is a management and technology strategy consultant with over 30 years of hands on experience in the utility industry, most recently focusing on energy delivery strategies and solutions in the de-regulating industry environment. Mike has provided thought leadership to more than 40 private and public utilities. Prior to joining Boreas Group, Mike held numerous senior executive positions. Mr. Tao, a frequent lecturer on electric operations optimization, is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE). He has a MBA in Finance, and a BS in Electrical Engineering.
