Dr. Michael Monticino received his PhD in mathematics from the University of Miami (Florida, USA). He is currently a faculty member in the Mathematics Department and the Institute of Applied Sciencs at the University of North Texas, U.S.A. His research interests include applied probability and statistical models, stochastic processes, and optimal control. Dr. Monticino is also Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at UNT.
