Giovanni Pau is a research scientist in the Computer Science Department at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his Laurea Doctorate and PhD both from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1998 and 2002 respectively. Dr. Pau co-authored more than 50 articles published in international scientific journals and international conferences. His current research interests include wireless vehicular networks, multimedia entertainment, and mobile p2p Systems. Dr. Pau is the Vice Chair for North America of the IEEE Communication Society Multimedia Committee, he serves as Technical Committee Member in several conferences, and is member of the editorial board of the Elsevier Journal of Ad Hoc networks and the Springer International Journal of P2P Systems. Dr. Pau is active with both ACM and IEEE.
