Biography of the Conference Chair
Prof. Katalin M. Hangos received her M.Sc. degree in chemistry, B.Sc. degree in computer science from the Loránd Eötvös University in Budapest, Hungary in 1977 and 1980, respectively. Her Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees in process systems engineering were obtained from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1984 and 1993, respectively. Currently, she is a research professor and the head of the Process Control Research Group of the Systems and Control Laboratory at the Computer and Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include the modelling, analysis, diagnosis and control of nonlinear process systems.
