Biography of the Conference Chair
Professor Francis J. Ogwu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Botswana. He obtained his PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1990. He served as Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Obafemi Awolowo University between 1994 and 1997. He is currently the Head of Department of Computer Science, University of Botswana, Botswana. Professor Ogwu has authored several academic papers. He has also organized and served in various capacities in International Conferences. For many years, Professor Ogwu has played leading roles in human capacity building and manpower training in both Nigerian and Botswana Universities, in particular, developing information technology systems for education and healthcare sectors.
