Biography of the Publicity Chair

Tansel Ozyer obtained his bachelor's degree and M.Sc. degree from the Department of Computer Engineering, Bilkent, Ankara and Middle East Technical University, Ankara. After spending several years in the industry in North America, he joined the Ph.D. program in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary, Canada, where he completed his Ph.D. degree. He published several refereed conference papers and journal articles at prestigious venues. His research interests are data mining, bioinformatics, mobile computing and XML.
