Biography of the Conference Chair
Mohamed H. Hamza received his S.B. degree in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. in 1958; his Dr.sc.techn. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, in 1963; and his Dr.Phil. Degree in Mathematics from the University of Zurich in 1966. From 1963 to 1968 he was a member of the staff of the Institute for Operations Research of the University of Zurich. From 1968 to 1991 he was a professor at the University of Calgary in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Hamza is a Director of IASTED and is its Founding President.
