Dr. Vili Podgorelec obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maribor, Slovenia, where he is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Informatics. His main research interests include intelligent systems, software engineering, evolutionary computation, systems theory, evolution of languages and medical informatics. Dr. Podgorelec has been involved in several international projects on medical informatics and software engineering. Dr. Podgorelec is also author of many journal papers on the above mentioned topics.
