Biography of the Conference Chair
Professor Pericles D. Bourkas is with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He received his Ph.D. degree from the same university. His major research activities involve high-voltage engineering, electrical measurements, electrical insulating materials, electromechanical installations in industry and buildings, hospital installations, and biomedical technology. Professor Bourkas' work experience includes positions such as President of the Technical Council of the Ministry of Health and Director of Technical Services at the same Ministry.
