Biography of the Program Co-Chair

Professor Dr. Nadine Barrie Smith obtained her PhD in Biophysics from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in the United States. She is currently a professor of in the Bioengineering at The Pennsylvania State University at University Park. The research of Dr. Smith focuses on therapeutic applications of ultrasound and its combination with diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
