VISA
INFORMATION
Please note, all accepted authors (“contact
author only”) will receive an official invitation
letter in the mail. This letter is required in order to
obtain a visa. If the mailing address and name of the author
attending the conference is different than the “contact
author” information submitted with your initial paper,
please send an email to calgary@iasted.org
with the correct and complete information and your paper
number.
The following information should be used only as a guide.
Please consult your local Austrian Embassy or Consulate
to ensure that you meet the requirements for entry to Austria.
You do not require a visa if you hold a national passport
of a country within the EEA (European Economic Area = EU
countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). Nationals
from EU-countries as well as Switzerland and Liechtenstein
may remain for an unlimited time, providing you leave Austria
before the expiry date of your passport. Holders of American
or Canadian Passports do not need a visa for Austria as
long as the passport will not expire within 60 days from
the day of departure from Austria.
Further information may be obtained from the Austrian Embassy
or consulate in your country as well as the Federal Ministry
for Foreign Affairs.
