VISA INFORMATION
A tourist visa is required for delegates of certain
countries to enter Greece. The application process can be
lengthy, so IASTED encourages you to begin this process
as soon as possible. Eligibility and procedural requirements
for travel documents change frequently so please consult
your local Greek Consulate or Embassy as soon as possible
to verify your travel documentation requirements.
A formal invitation letter will be mailed to the contact
author as soon as possible after the notification
of acceptance deadline. If you require a copy of this letter
sent via email or plan to have an alternate author register
for the conference, please contact the IASTED secretariat
at calgary@iasted.org.
VISA
EXEMPTIONS
Delegates from the following countries do not require visas:
1. Nationals of EU countries, Australia, Canada, Japan,
and USA for a period of up to 3 months
2. Nationals of Andorra, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Croatia,
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland,
Israel, Korea (Rep. of), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania,
Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua,
Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, St Kitts & Nevis,
San Marino, Slovak Republic, Switzerland, and Vatican City
for a period of up to 3 months
3. Nationals of Brazil, El Salvador, and Uruguay for a period
of up to 2 months
4. Nationals of Singapore for a period of up to 2 weeks
Delegates who do not require a visa must have a valid passport
that will not expire within 6 months of their time of visit.
Exceptions to this include:
1. EU nationals with a valid national ID card and with sufficient
funds for their length of stay
2. Nationals of Monaco and Switzerland with valid national
ID cards
