Special Sessions/Workshops
Proposals for
special sessions/workshops are solicited for the 18th IASTED
International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing
and Systems (PDCS) 2006 to be held in Dallas, TX, Nov. 13-15,
2006.

WORKSHOPS
Each workshop should include at least 12 papers.
Proposals for workshops should include a workshop title,
a list of topics covered, review method, and the qualifications
and brief biography of the workshop organizer(s).
SPECIAL
SESSIONS
Each special session should include at least 6
papers. Proposals for special sessions should include a
session title, a list of topics covered, review method,
and the qualifications and brief biography of the session
organizer.
All papers will
be handled electronically and submitted to the organizer
of the special session/workshop. Please check the special
session submission for detailed information.

SUBMISSION
INSTRUCTIONS
All special session/workshop proposals should be submitted
to the Special Session/Workshop Chair, Dr. Mei Yang,
at meiyang@egr.unlv.edu
by Mar. 15th, 2006. Evaluation of the special
session/workshop proposals will be based on the relevance
and timeliness of the area and topics.
PAPER REVIEW AND PUBLICATION
All submitted papers and posters will be reviewed by the
organizer of the special session/workshop and the reviewers
they invite. Accepted papers will be published in the conference
proceedings.
