CONFERENCE
VENUE
Botswana is one of the finest tourist destinations on the
African continent. The Okavango, which
originates in the uplands of Angola to the north-west, flows
into and then spreads over the sandy spaces of the Kalahari
to form an immense and wondrous inland delta of lagoon and
labyrinthine channel, palm-fringed island and fertile floodplain.
The IASTED international
conferences (PEA, MSO, and ESTW) will be held in Gabarone,
the capital of Botswana. The conference venue will be the
Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) in the city
of Gaborone. The convention center is located adjacent to
the Grand Palm Resort and Casino.
Delegates can
stay at the Metcourt Inn and the Walmont Ambassador Inn,
which are adjacent to the Grand Palm Resort. Please click
here for more
information.
The Grand Palm incorporates the Gaborone International
Convention Centre (GICC), a state of the art, multi
faceted convention facility suited to the needs of both
international and local meetings, incentives, conferences
and exhibitions. The Grand Palm also offers an unforgettable
resort experience in the grand tradition of Botswana hospitality.
