Tour
departs from the Hotel at 7:30am
Tour returns to the Hotel at 6:00pm
The day tour
consists of a morning game reserve tour and afternoon cultural
tour accompanied by an official guide.
7:30
am Travelling in small buses we will drive through
a game reserve to see exotic animals such as antelope, monkeys,
rock hyrax and prolific bird-life.
10:00
am Our travel will take us to the centre of Gaborone
to visit the National Museum and Art Gallery. There is an
opportunity to take a short walk to the busy Main Mall to
the Parliament buildings, giving you a chance to see across-section
of Botswana life and a plethora of arts and crafts vendors.
Lunch will be provided at the BULL
AND BUSH restaurant with an outdoor eating area.
The T-bone steak is supposedly, “Not to be missed.”
2:30pm In the afternoon we will proceed
to the Gabane village to see local pottery, glass works,
art and a company producing creams, lotions and herbal remedies
from local plants.
4:30pm
Upon arrival back in Gaborone there will be another opportunity
to view traditional arts and crafts at the Botswana Craft
Centre
